Tyco has re-established a 'local' service dedicated to this specialist academic, scientific and industrial market sector

Tyco Thermal Controls, which claims market leadership in laboratory heating mantles across continental Europe, now offers its full Isopad Pilz product range in the UK and has re-established a 'local' service dedicated to this specialist academic, scientific and industrial market sector Available through all major catalogues, the Isopad Pilz range comprises an extensive choice of mantle sizes and shapes, bank units, power regulators, probes, magnetic stirrers and other accessories

These competitively priced, high-reliability heating mantles are designed to apply accurately controlled heat to the contents of all popular types of beakers, flasks and vessels used in chemical, biological and biotechnical laboratories.

Clean, safe and capable of providing temperatures up to 450C, the mantles encompass capacities from small 50ml educational laboratory units right up to large 200 litre industrial heating mantles.

They provide even heat transfer and a gentle treatment of the laboratory glassware and the highly effective thermal insulation prevents external heat loss.

Many models feature switching zones to accommodate variable fluid levels - only heating to the content level of a vessel.

Isopad Pilz heating mantles are tested to the latest safety regulations as a function of their application.

Tyco Thermal Controls will also manufacture Isopad mantles to special order for vessel shapes of any design, according to customer specific requirements (funnel, Erlenmeyer, multi-neck flasks etc) with different heating power ratings and voltages.
