Allegro Technologies says that as of 1 Feb 2004 it will trade under the name Deerac Fluidics.

Deerac Fluidics is a bio-instrumentation company addressing the needs of the life sciences industry by providing a range of low volume pipetting and dispensing products incorporating its unrivalled spot-on technology.

These instruments permit Deerac Fluidics customers to improve R and D efficiency by generating high quality data at reduced costs and timeframes.

"The new trading name Deerac Fluidics will create a more unique and clear identity that better reflects the company's leading position and presence in the liquid handling market" explained CEO Jurgen Osing.

"It is a further development in the evolution of our company that correlates well with the successful introduction of our Spot-on and Equator brands.
