Scanning micro-electrode workstation can be used to monitor or impose current flowing between a micro-electrode and a specimen surface in solution
The system is based on the proven technology of the model PG580 hand-held potentiostat and offers the ultra-low noise, low current performance of the PG580 but in a rack-mounted configuration.
The versatile and easy to use UiEChem software is included and has the ability to perform all of the standard electrochemical techniques (such as CV, LSV, SWV, DPP, CA, CP).
In addition the Macro programming language allows the user to program any waveform, or uniquely configure the instrument to perform a particular experiment.
Alternatively available is Uniscan's brand new corrosion analysis software UiECorr which includes all the standard corrosion analysis techniques.
USB connectivity ensures easy installation, and makes the PG580RM an excellent choice for a range of applications where a simultaneous measurement on separate cells is necessary.
For applications where an 'N-stat' configuration is required the channels can be fitted with an optional isolation module.
In this configuration all the working electrodes can be connected to the potentiostat channels whilst performing the experiments in the same electrochemical environment.
The PG580RM is the instrument of choice in areas of high-throughput analysis where customised software and hardware are critical to the management of an integrated system.
The Uniscan Instruments model PG580RM digital scanning multi-channel potentiostat system available in a wide range of configurations with optional accessories.
