A new sensor technology for measuring
ammonia gas

Range of products for measuring ammonia gas concentrations up to 1000ppm are based on thin film polymer technology for high selectivity and long life

Vaisala is launching a range of products for measuring ammonia gas concentrations up to 1000 ppm A new Ammonicap sensor based on thin film polymer technology has been developed that is highly selective to ammonia and has a long lifetime

These features reduce false alarms and maintenance costs.

The sensor operates over a wide temperature range, from -40 to +60C and humidity up to 100% rh.

It provides a simple and reliable method of detecting ammonia gas leaks in isolated areas such as roof voids or other areas where ammonia is used as a cooling agent.

Two products are fitted with Ammonicap, the AMT101 and 102.

Both have a 4-20mA output, data logging capability and built in service and diagnostic features.

In addition the AMT102 has user programmable two stage high-level relay alarms.

The product housing is rated to IP65 and is simple to install.

Power requirement is 24V AC/DC. Request a free brochure from Vaisala ...
