Biodisks allow for multiple tests to be carried out on a tiny sample of liquid, reducing the time, equipment and sample volume that would normally be required.

Lynx presents a bright, clear image through the innovative eyepieceless viewing head.
This image allows the operator to clearly see the features within the clear plastic moulding.
In particular, the micro channels can be inspected to ensure that the sample liquid will flow smoothly through the disk during use.
This Lynx system is operated with a 20x stereo magnification, allowing the operator to clearly see small features on a low contrast component.
The microscope is mounted on a boom fixture which allows for simple manipulation of the components under the optics, as well as a large working area ensuring a comfortable operating posture for the user.
The six-point 'shadow free' fibre optic ringlight provides bright, uniform illumination of the component.
In addition to the biodisk inspections, I-Sys Automation also use the Lynx for inspection of its tooling and pre-production samples.
