Triple detection for protein
characterisation

Triple detector array employs a concentration detector, viscometer, and a light scattering detector to provide absolute molecular characterisation

Viscotek Europe has introduced the Model 302 triple detector array (TDA) designed for the characterisation of proteins and protein aggregates The TDA employs a concentration detector, viscometer, and a light scattering detector to provide absolute molecular characterisation

Operating on-line in continuous-flow mode, the TDA can be added directly to an existing liquid chromatography system.

Combined with Viscotek's Trisec software, the TDA represents the latest in detector technology for protein characterisation.

It is the only detector capable of providing direct measurement of protein molecular weight, molecular structure and molecular size (to <1nm) in a single, simple GPC, GFC, or FPLC experiment.

The TDA protein system produces accurate results in minutes that other combinations of techniques typically take days to achieve.

Incorporating Viscotek's patented four capillary differential viscometer the TDA provides the high sensitivity required to analyse proteins even with very low viscosity.

Using this intrinsic viscosity data can reveal the extent of protein denaturisation and an indication as to the identity of the breakdown products. Request a free brochure from Viscotek Europe ...
