Powerful copolymer analysis software

Able to import and analyse up to six channels of data simultaneously, software is able to cope with even the most demanding copolymer multi-detector analyses

The OmniSec copolymer module from Viscotek is the latest addition to its multifunctional GPC/SEC software Able to import and analyse up to six channels of data simultaneously, OmniSec is able to cope with even the most demanding copolymer multi-detector analyses

With increasing widespread use of copolymers the OmniSec copolymer module corrects the limitations of analysis using only a single detector.

This is achieved by ratioing the response from two concentration detectors such as refractive index or UV-visible to rapidly determine copolymer concentration and to generate a true concentration profile.

Sample types that will benefit most from the new software module include synthetic polymers such as styrene-butadiene copolymers, Pegylated proteins and natural copolymers such as protein polysaccharides.

Within the new software advanced facility for calculating dn/dc for every slice of copolymer data greatly enhances analytical accuracy and is particularly advantageous when using light scattering detection.

New functionality to graph copolymer percent as a function of elution volume and store calibration tables for different copolymer types further increases operational versatility and ease of use.

OmniSec is the first fully 21CFR part 11 compliant GPC/SEC software package to provide an integrated software solution that helps maximise the information extraction and efficiency of polymer and protein characterisation experiments. Request a free brochure from Viscotek Europe ...
