This pioneering spirit has allowed it to become a market leader in the manufacture of gel permeation chromatography (GPC), flow injection polymer analysis (Fipa), and dilute solution viscosity (DSV) detectors and software, it says.
The introduction of new products including the GPCmax, OmniSec software and the low angle light scattering (Lals) detector for the triple detector array over the last few years has enabled Viscotek to maintain steady growth.
Viscotek says its triple detection systems, which employ a concentration detector, viscometer and light scattering detector operating in concert, are today the defacto standard for the characterisation of natural and synthetic polymers and proteins in the petrochemical, specialty chemical, elastomers, adhesives, coatings, food, agricultural, academic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.
Operating out of the corporate offices in Houston, Texas, Viscotek USA provides coverage the North American and Asian markets.
