Extended warranty on power supplies
VWR International announces it is extending the warranty period on its line of VWR AccuPower power supplies, used for DNA sequencing among other things, to four years parts and labour
Previously available with a two-year warranty, the five power supply models now offer this new warranty as an added assurance of quality and reliability The VWR AccuPower power supply line consists of five different models, covering a wide range of electrophoresis applications
All models are lightweight with small benchtop footprints.
The ultra-compact Model 200 is ideally suited for less demanding electrophoresis applications, and features a three position, 100-150-200 volt toggle switch.
Models 300, 500, 500-2 and 4000 feature built-in timers, quad outlets, microprocessor controls and automatic crossover systems.
Applications for the VWR AccuPower power supplies include submarine DNA/RNA, multiple submarine gels, mini-vertical gels, electro-elution, Western blotting, semi-dry blotting, pulsed field, 2-D electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, iso-electric focusing and DNA sequencing.
