"By rolling out the advanced functionality developed for the US site to our other countries, we were able to significantly reduce the implementation time.
The benefit to our customers worldwide is the more timely delivery of up-to-date e-business technologies at a local level and with local content." VWR says it plans to add the United Kingdom, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain and other country sites to its network at an even faster pace.
"We are also continuing to seek out and develop new e-business technologies to incorporate into our websites using the same 'develop once, deploy many times' approach.
A robust parametric search engine launched on vwr.com is rolling out to the other country sites soon." Labonte adds.
