Powerful benchtop peristaltic pump
The new Sci-Q 323 peristaltic pump is at the centre of the Sci-Q range from Watson-Marlow Bredel, a range that claims to offer every peristaltic pump for scientific needs
With five completely new drives and five pumphead configurations, the Sci-Q 323 brings power and performance to the benchtop As well as conforming to Watson-Marlow Bredel's high standards of precision engineering and quality, the 323 also offers a number of innovative design features, including advanced functionality, far ahead of competitive pumps with similar flow rates

Watson-Marlow Bredel anticipates that the Sci-Q 323 will quickly become recognised as the industry standard, across a broad range of single and multi-channel scientific, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.
All 323 pumps have brushless DC motors, making them maintenance free and extremely quiet.
The stylish and hygienic casework features a wipe-clean membrane keypad and integral LCD display - a real advance over conventional buttons and switches, and again the feature is standard across the 323 range.

Pumps for bio-processing and high-flow sanitary
Featuring a smaller footprint than other pumps with a similar flow rate, 720 pumps provide low shear pumping up to 4000 litre/hour and use sanitary LoadSure pumping elements for one minute maintenance
Key features of the Sci-Q 323 include: membrane keypad with integral LCD display - for accuracy and easy cleaning; pumphead options for single or multi-channel flows - from microlitres per minute to 2.2 litres per minute; precision brushless DC motor - precise control, quiet operation and zero maintenance; durable chemical-resistant case - hygienic and functional, stackable but stylish.
Sci-Q 323 pumps offer outstanding value for money right across the range, starting with the entry level pump, the manually controlled variable speed 323E.
The more sophisticated 323S features 147:1 speed control ratio enabling a greater flow rate range and flow precision, while the 323U provides a further step up in functionality with the facility to receive analogue auto-control signals and digital TTL remote control of run/stop and direction.
Both the S and U models feature a keypad lock to prevent accidental tampering, and a MemoDose function which enables accurate single shot dispensing.
Two further additions, the 323Du and 323Dz will complete the new range in Spring 2002.
The 323Du will include the additional feature of RS232 control, and the 323Dz is a specialist dispensing unit, allowing the size of dose, delivery interval and number of doses to be specified.
All 323 drives can be fitted with 313 and 314 single-channel pumpheads.
These feature either three rollers for higher flows, or four rollers for lower pulsation.
Flow rates up to 2.2 litres per minute and up to six pumpheads can be ganged together on a single drive to give multi-channel capacity.
Alternatively, drives can be fitted with either one or two 314MC or 318MC microcassette five-channel pumpheads - again offering choice in the number of rollers - either four or eight, to provide microlitre flows through fine bore manifold tubing.
Finally for single channel high flow pumping 323 drives can also be fitted with the 501RL pumphead. Request a free brochure from Watson-Marlow Bredel Pumps ...
