Wisbiomed signs distribution deal with
Wealtec

The agreement also granted Wisbiomed the non-exclusive rights to all the other electrophoresis apparatus, power supplies, semi-dry blotting devices, software, molecular biology reagents manufactured by Wealtec.
Wisbiomed is a technical marketing and sales organisation located in San Francisco Bay area that represents over ten companies in the west coast of the USA, such as NanoDrop Technologies and BioMed Immunotech.
It is aggressively expanding its product portfolio for molecular biology, cell biology and genomic applications.
Wealtec Dolphin series are described as superior systems at very attractive prices.
The simple to use software, solid hardware and craftsmanship put this product line on the top of the price-to-functionality list, says the company.
"We believe this line will do well in US laboratories" said Martin Wang, president of Wis.
"In the digital age where all the technologies drive price lower, just as what is happening to computers, digital cameras, scientists will enjoy the continuous lowering cost of laboratory equipment, and get much more functionalities".
"Wisbiomed will accelerate this process by using a new marketing, sales and support model so we can deliver same product at relatively lower cost".
Meanwhile, Wisbiomed is planning a trade-in programme for used gel imaging and documentation systems, so scientists can easily upgrade their imaging and documentation system.
