New improved spectrophotometers from WPA
Ongoing development following the successful launch of the Biowave II and Lightwave II UV/visible spectrophotometers in 2006 has led to the release of two new models, the Biowave II+ and Lightwave II+
The WPA Biowave II+ and Lightwave II+ UV/visible spectrophotometers feature enhanced 3nm bandwidth for scientists who need that extra performance, and like the standard models employ the company's novel Gifford optics with no moving parts The Xenon source combines high energy output and longer lamp lifetime

Spectrophotometer now links directly to PC
The Lightwave S2000 spectrophotometer is now available with a bi-directional RS232 port allowing the instrument to be controlled by a PC and results downloaded to a spreadsheet
A large wide view graphical display and integral menu-driven software make these instruments very easy to use and provide flash scan capability, fixed wavelength, kinetics and concentration measurements, all with flexible data manipulation options.
Up to 90 methods can be stored in user-defined folders.
Results may be printed to the optional high quality integral printer or exported via USB or Bluetooth to a PC.
WPA says its range of spectrophotometers, colorimeters and electrochemistry instruments represents excellent value for money and offers practical tools for a host of routine applications.
