E-CRF technology is made generally
available
This technology enables sponsors and EDC- and e-diary vendors to create e-CRFs at much lower cost than has ever been the case.
XML4Pharma, a consultancy company and provider of innovative information technology for use in clinical research, has developed technology to automatically create e-CRFs from study descriptions in Cdisc ODM format This technology enables sponsors and EDC- and e-diary vendors to create e-CRFs at much lower cost than has ever been the case
The new technology is based on the open W3C standard for electronic forms, XForms.
XForms can be deployed as well in browsers, PDAs as smartphones.
The XForms technology has now become so mature and accepted, that XML4Pharma has decided to make this technology to create e-CRFs generally available.
Sponsors, EDC and e-diary vendors, and CROs that develop their own e-CRFs, are invited to contact XML4Pharma, to discuss the use of this new technology in their own applications.
