High-performance digital sampling power
meters
New range of meters combine high performance with versatility for a wide range of power measurement and energy management applications
Yokogawa has introduced a new range of digital sampling power meters which combine high performance with versatility for a wide range of power measurement and energy management applications The new WT210 (single-phase) and WT230 (3-phase) are compact half-rack sized instruments whose wide frequency range makes them suited to applications ranging from low-frequency motor and convertor measurements to tests on high-frequency invertors

Data-acquisition system offers high channel count
The new MV200 from Yokogawa, with its large (10.4 inch) colour TFT screen, is a high-channel-count data-acquisition system that is equally suited to mobile or benchtop use.
Compact portable data loger
The MV100 MobileCorder from Yokogawa Martron is a compact portable data logger equipped with a large colour screen for the instant readout and monitoring of online data
The basic accuracy of 0.1% is combined with an AC frequency range of 0.5Hz to 100kHz in addition to DC measurements.
A display update rate of up to 10 readings per second allows transient phenomena to be captured in detail as well as shortening the acquisition time for a single measurement.
Both instruments offer voltage ranges from 15 to 600V and current ranges from 0.5 to 20A.
In addition, the WT210 has current ranges from 5mA to 200mA, allowing currents as low as 50ľA to be accurately measured and providing support for both standby power and rated power measurement applications.
A line filter function allows the RMS value of the fundamental wave of an invertor's output voltage to be measured, and an optional harmonic measurement function allows parameters such as reactive power, content ratio and phase angle relative to fundamental frequency to be calculated for up to 50 orders within fractions of a second.
Other features include a maximum hold function, maximum elapsed time up to 10,000 hours, an average active power display, and a facility for integration over small time intervals.
Interfaces are included for a variety of add-on options including clamp meters for high-current measurements, online power meter control and recording, A/D recorder output, and 'go/no-go' evaluation for production tests.
