The new MV200 from Yokogawa, with its large (10.4 inch) colour TFT screen, is a high-channel-count data-acquisition system that is equally suited to mobile or benchtop use.
The UK operation was formed in 1998 when Yokogawa acquired its exclusive agent, Martron Instruments, and for the past five years has traded from Martron's former headquarters in High Wycombe, Bucks.
Yokogawa's other UK operation, Yokogawa UK, is a supplier of process control instrumentation and systems, and is headquartered in Runcorn, Cheshire, with offices in Milton Keynes and the Isle of Wight.
Commenting on the changes, Phil Harrison, managing director of Yokogawa Measurement Technologies, said: "The new name is an accurate reflection of the scope of our activities, while the new premises will allow us room to expand and develop the business in modern surroundings".
The former website has been discontinued and will shortly be replaced by a UK portal to the corporate Yokogawa website.
