Data-acquisition system offers high channel count
The new MV200 from Yokogawa, with its large (10.4 inch) colour TFT screen, is a high-channel-count data-acquisition system that is equally suited to mobile or benchtop use.
Compact portable data loger
The MV100 MobileCorder from Yokogawa Martron is a compact portable data logger equipped with a large colour screen for the instant readout and monitoring of online data
Being shown for the first time are two compact, easy-to-use and economical instruments for 10Gbit/s bit-error-rate testing.
The AQ2200-601 is based on the successful AQ2200 modular platform and is suited to both laboratory and manufacturing applications, while the AP9945 is a portable unit which is ideal for field testing.
These new instruments provide comprehensive testing capabilities for 10Gbit/s networks as well as ethernet and 10Gbit/s components such as transmitter and receiver optical subassemblies, XFP transceivers and Pin diodes.

Yokogawa has, for the first time, packaged two high-accuracy 3-phase power meters into a benchtop enclosure to create its new WT 1600 wideband digital power analyser
Differential probe with 500MHz bandwidth
A single-ended oscilloscope input can be transformed into a balanced differential input using this probe, boosting ability to capture high speed signals at low voltages
Both the AQ2200-601 and the AQ9945 offer pulse pattern generation from 9.95Gbit/s up to 11.32Gbit/s, as well as variable amplitude, offset and crosspoint settings.
Internal clock data recovery makes it very easy to run tests without providing a separate clock signal.
Also new at the show are two plug-in measurement modules as well as emulation software for the company's AQ7260 optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR).
The AQ7269 offers both single-mode fibre (SMF) and multi-mode fibre (MMF) measurement capability in one unit, while the AQ7265 offers SMF measurements with high dynamic range.
The AQ7269 is said to be ideally suited to meet the needs of fibre installers in the growing Metro, Wan, Lan, and FTTH markets, while the AQ7265 is designed for fibre-optic measurements in long-haul networks.
The new emulation software includes batch analysis reporting and batch print functions as well as data viewing.
