Zwick and Co KG has gained 29th place in the 'Best Workplaces in Germany 2009' competition in the category for companies with 501 to 5,000 employees.
The award recognises a particular quality and attractiveness in workplaces and was presented by the Great Place to Work Institute Germany in the presence of German Employment Minister Olaf Scholz during a major awards ceremony in Berlin.
Zwick and Co KG employees had previously taken part in an anonymous detailed survey covering workplace issues such as quality of management and collaboration, opportunities for professional development and job satisfaction.
In addition the activities and concepts of the company's personnel work were assessed.
