Microplate reader for specialised applications
EZ Read 400 flexi reader
Biochrom has introduced the EZ Read 400 Flexi Reader, a microplate reader that is designed to deliver high-quality absorbance measurements and support specialised applications.
The company said customers can select up to four filters of any wavelength from 400nm to 750nm, in addition to four standard ELISA filters of 405, 450, 492 and 620nm.
All installed filters are verified at the company's Cambridge, UK-based manufacturing facility.
The EZ Read Flexi Reader is PC-controlled using Biochrom's ADAP 2.0 software.
ADAP 2.0 Basic software is supplied as standard providing straightforward control for endpoint, kinetic and multi-wavelength measurements, as well as easy export into Microsoft Excel.
Optional ADAP 2.0 Plus software allows users involved in more sophisticated applications to quickly and easily design methods for instant data analysis using standard curves or cut-offs.
Biochrom has introduced a number of new EZ Read 400 microplate readers, including the EZ Read 400 Flexi that allows customers to pre-select the filters most suited to their application.
For a limited time, purchasers of an EZ Read 400 Elisa reader will also receive a free Denville Scientific eight-channel 20-200ul pipette.
Oberlin College in Ohio, US, has invested in research-grade spectrophotometers for its chemistry and biochemistry teaching laboratories.
For a limited period, Biochrom customers can purchase the EZ Read 400 ELISA reader and a choice of either the Asys Atlantis 2 or Anthos Fluido 2 W2 microplate washers for a special package price.
Biochrom is offering a free software upgrade with purchases of its EZ Read 400 research reader, a microplate reader with eight pre-installed filters covering the most common laboratory assays.
