Microplate reader website is mobile friendly
Microplate reader specialist BMG Labtech has introduced a website optimised for mobile devices, developed specifically for users of smartphones and other wireless devices.
The mobile-friendly version of the company's website includes information on the company's range of multimode and dedicated microplate readers, as well as the latest news, application notes, contact information and more.
Users will also be able to view an optimised version of the video library, including numerous instructional videos, on their smartphone.
BMG Labtech has also developed various QR Codes, designed to make it easier and faster to find the information users are looking for.
The QR codes need only to be scanned or photographed with a smartphone equipped with a QR reader and the user is automatically directed to the information that they need.
The POLARstar microplate reader has been used by German researchers to study the effects of gravity fluctuations on plants.
The SoPRano assay platform can work on all BMG microplate readers that have a CCD spectrometer.
BMG Labtech has introduced the Atmospheric Control Unit (ACU), which provides regulated, independent control of both oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) levels within a multimode microplate reader.
To address its need for a new absorbance microplate reader for teaching and in its labs, researchers at the University of Texas at Arlington applied for BMG Labtech's Spectrostar Nano competition.
BMG Labtech is offering customers the opportunity to win one of five free Spectrostar Nano absorbance microplate readers.
