Prior Scientific announce the latest addition to their wide range of illumination products for microscopy.
The new Brightfield LED illuminator provides all the advantages of LED illumination in a flexible package that can be fitted to most modern microscope systems, both inverted and upright.
This compact device fits easily to the microscope, simply replacing the standard lamphouse, but the LED will provide 10,000+ hours of operating lifetime.
Control is also very simple offering a choice of manual intensity control or TTL control of ON/OFF eliminating the need for shutter mechanisms.
Illumination is even across the field of view and a constant colour temperature is assured at all intensities.
Image quality is so dependent on the method of illumination, but Prior's Brightfield LED is designed for optimum image quality so you can image with confidence.
