This new modular instrument attaches to any current conventional NMR system to deliver polarisation-enhanced samples for liquid state NMR.
The Experimental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Conference (ENC) in Pacific Grove, California hosts the largest worldwide gathering of the NMR community and brings together the latest cutting edge NMR research.
ENC is therefore an ideal location to showcase the ground-breaking and innovative technology built into the HyperSense DNP polariser.
By dramatically increasing the signal-to-noise ratio, reducing experimental run times for 13C and 15N applications and substantially lowering the limit of signal detection, HyperSense has the ability to transform 13C and 15N based research.
Its capability to surpass previous sensitivity barriers has increased the applicability of NMR and has led to three landmark collaborative agreements with Pfizer Global R+D, Queen Mary University of London and the University of Birmingham, Institute for Cancer Studies to use OIMBL's new product.
These organisations represent some of the key NMR groups across academia and industry who are using HyperSense to study different aspects of signal enhanced NMR across life science research, pharmaceuticals and chemistry.

HyperSense is a modular instrument that will attach to any currently available NMR system.
It features a minimal footprint, single user operation, and is compatible with a variety of standard NMR solvents, probes and spectrometers.
It also features an automation system that facilitates NMR data acquisition with little manual intervention.
OIMBL expects high demand for HyperSense and will announce pricing and delivery information at the ENC.
The company has already taken initial orders and is now in the process of delivering HyperSense to customers worldwide.
For those who wish to sample the ability of HyperSense for limited testing or before purchase, OIMBL has officially opened an applications laboratory at its Tubney Woods site in Oxfordshire.
This purpose-built facility houses the latest equipment and customers are able to observe instrument demonstrations, conduct their own NMR experiments and are encouraged to enter into scientific collaborations with Oxford Instruments.
Similar facilities are planned for Japan and the USA.
