Designated the PPTR type, it is designed for use in harsh environments, and is especially suitable for use as a depth sensor.
This smart sensor combines proven silicon sensor technology with microprocessor based signal conditioning, delivering repeatable, long term accuracy of 0.1% of span max (better accuracy on request) over the operating temperature range of -40 to +85C.
Absolute or gauge configurations are available.
The PPTR can measure pressure to depths of up to 2000meters (3000psi).
Simple system design ensures no additional signal compensation is needed, and efficient data acquisition can connect up to 89 units on a multidrop bus if using the optional RS-485 capability (RS232 standard).
This versatile product can be installed with both existing and new systems.
An optional hastelloy diaphragm is available to enable the handling of most media such as harsh gases or liquids.
An analogue 0-5VDC output is included.
