Testing Machines (TMI), a manufacturer of testing instrumentation, has acquired Lako Tool, a manufacturer of replacement sealing jaws and laboratory testing instrumentation
"We have a proven, 30-year reputation as a leading manufacturer of replacement seal jaws for film packaging machinery," says Larry Smith, president of Lako Tool.

Over the last eight years, Lako Tool has also developed and successfully introduced a line of hot tack seal strength and heat sealing instrumentation for laboratory use.

With more than 30 years of experience, Lako Tool serves the film packaging machinery industry with sealing, cutting and punching solutions.
The company also produces hot tack and heat sealing instruments for laboratory use.
TMI provides laboratory testing solutions to measure quality of materials and consumer products for a variety of industries.
The group includes Testing Machines, New York; Lawson-Hemphill, Swansea, Ma; Messmer Instruments, UK; Buchel, Netherlands; Adamel Lhomargy, France; TMI Canada, and Lako Tool, Ohio.
