April 15 2009 - DGKL has ranked Agowa Genomics, the Berlin-based sequencing and extraction specialist, number one in a DNA sequencing survey (SQ2/08).
DGKL surveyed 37 laboratories from 12 European countries, including 19 German facilities.
DGKL gave each participant two PCR products and associated primer sets.
It then asked them to sequence the PCR products and analyse the resulting sequencing data to generate concordant DNA sequence data and the longest read lengths.
The results from each laboratory were ranked according to accuracy and read length.
Agowa Genomics achieved the highest score for overall technical performance.
