Polarmetrics has unveiled a multi-component speciality Boreas gas analyser for the rapid analysis of specialty and industrial gases.
The Boreas gas analyser allows suppliers and users of specialty gases to quickly check gas blends and/or impurities to ensure product quality.
Traditional instruments use costly consumables, are slow, and can be difficult to use.
Polarmetrics said the Boreas gas analyser is based on EP-IR spectroscopy and comes pre-calibrated for gases of choice.
It quickly and accurately measures a variety of gases, is easy to use, and does not require costly consumables, solvents, or carrier gases, the company added.
With the integrated temperature- and pressure-controlled low-volume multibounce gas cell, the Boreas gas analyser allows users to check monoblend gases with a +/- 1 per cent to 2 per cent EPA certification and level of detection in the ppb range.
This complete analyser comes in a 19in rack mount with software and pre-calibrations for push-button analysis.
