25 November 2009 - ISPE has announced its 2009 award winners and recognised their contributions to the pharmaceutical industry and the society.
Robert P Best, president and chief executive officer at ISPE, presented the honours at the society's 2009 Annual Meeting held on 7-11 November in San Diego, California. Award winners included: Jason Tang; Gordon Farquharson, and Nuala F Calnan, Alice Redmond and Stan O'Neill, among others. 3 September 2009 - ISPE has secured speakers to give keynote presentations at the ISPE 2009 Annual Meeting on 8-11 November at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego in California, US. The keynote speakers are: Samuel Bogoch, a faculty member at both Harvard Medical School and the Boston University School of Medicine; Lembit Rago, coordinator of quality assurance and safety for essential medicines and pharmaceutical policies at the World Health Organization (WHO); and Antonio J Ricco, chief technologist for small payloads and instrumentation in NASA Ames Research Center's Small Spacecraft Division.
