Genetix has announced that Indian Immunologicals (IIL) has become the first company on the Indian sub-continent to invest in a Clonepix FL system.
Clonepix FL is used for screening and selection of secretory cell lines, and can reduce the time and cost associated with recombinant protein generation.
ILL will use the system to support its biotherapeutic research and development activities and, subsequently, to help drive cost-effective manufacturing.
The company produces a range of veterinary and human vaccines and biotherapeutics, and runs a leading research and development centre in India.
