Thalesnano has introduced the H-Cube Pro, designed to provide higher throughput and enhanced control, a wider temperature range and greater chemistry capabilities.
The H-Cube Pro improves upon the original H-Cube's best features: its fast reactions, safe high-pressure hydrogen generation from water, catalyst cartridges and ease of use.
It also contains a range of new features, including active cooling for more selective reactions and an interface designed to be more user friendly.
With two cells, the reactor can generate up to 60ml/min of hydrogen.
Reactants can be hydrogenated at up to 2.0 molarity in concentration with a 70mm Catcart.
With improved reaction control, users now have the ability to adjust the amount of hydrogen produced at each pressure level between 0-60ml/min.
With an improved temperature range of 10 to 150C, instead of 25 to 100C, users now have the option of selecting lower temperatures as well as performing more difficult reactions at higher temperatures.
The redesigned user interface allows users to monitor reaction parameters in real time, set the duration of a reaction and export data at the end of each reaction.
The software uses the inlet and outlet valves to automatically equilibrate the system, run the reaction and then rinse the lines with solvent.
