Handhound is wall mounted and housed in a stainless-steel enclosure.
Because its operation is entirely hands-free, all risk of equipment contamination is removed.
A scan is automatically initiated when a user places their hands under the detector and accurate voice recognition allows them to select their name from a pre-programmed list and commence measurement.
Following the scan, an 'all-clear' or 'exceeded threshold' signal is given by an on-screen message.
Accountability is provided by an electronic log of each measurement, including username, time and location.
