Point Source has released a 30mW, 405nm fibre-coupled diode laser as the latest addition to its range of iFlex2000 lasers.
The iFlex2000 delivers 30mW in a pure Gaussian TEM00 collimated beam from a single mode polarisation maintaining fibre.
The laser is highly stable and reliable, while operating with extremely low noise (<0.1%RMS) and offers the added advantage of an on-board fast TTL and full analogue modulation.
At 30mW, Point Source says the iFlex2000 provides the highest commercially available fibre-coupled output power with the added capability of a detachable plug and play fiber for ease of installation, upgrade and field replacement.

Combined with the unsurpassed wave front performance available with the singlemode fiber this system is also ideal for DVD/CD mastering and optical inspection applications.
