Grants programme offers generous trade-in values for old luminometers, which can be redistributed to researchers who need such an instrument but cannot afford one
The Luminometer Grants programme at Turner BioSystems helps researchers who need luminometers but do not have the grant money to purchase one.
In the past eight months, the Luminometer Grants programme has donated 12 luminometers to researchers worldwide. In an attempt to increase the number of grantees, the company is offering generous trade-in values for old luminometers, whether working or not, as credit towards the purchase of its top performing microplate luminometer, the Veritas.
Participants not only gain a new high performance instrument, they also have the satisfaction of knowing that the trade-in will help another researcher who has qualified for a grant through the programme.
