Digipath and PathXL have teamed up in a bid to increase the user adoption of digital pathology within North America-based academic medical centres through educational applications.
The two companies showcased the PathXL Tutor and PathXL Simulate digital pathology education applications at the Association of Pathology Chairs Annual Meeting in Monterey, California, on 13-15 July 13 2011.
PathXL Tutor allows users to effectively create and manage digital slides and other content, publish online, share and view from anywhere in the world.
The application provides online virtual microscopy teaching, educational, CPD and competency exam resources in minutes.
PathXL Simulate supports early-stage training for residents in pathology.
Trainees can work through real cases and assess how well they have performed.
