Introducing the new Sanyo MCO-5M, a professional cell culture personal multi-gas incubator.
Said to be perfect for personal use in laboratories, for incubating the cells of patients, and for one-donor/one chamber use, the MCO-5M combines big security with a small footprint.
The MCO-5M automatic air jacket multi-gas incubator provides precise CO2 and O2 level controls to realise a stable cell culture environment.
It features multiple-patented technologies to safely achieve in vitro performance.
Also, the MCO-18M has been cleared by the US FDA for in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) use.
Other features of the unit include the unique Sanyo-patented InCuSaFe copper-alloy interior lining which continuously inhibits bacteria growth on its surface.
The optional SafeCell UV lamp can also eliminate airborne and water contaminents without affecting cell cultures.
PID controlled three-way heaters plus Sanyo's DHA (direct heat and air jacket) system together perform two essential functions - highly accurate temperature control along with condensation prevention within the unit.
A water level sensor warns of low water levels and an automatic gas cylinder switchover system also gives the peace of mind that cultures are in safe hands.
The design is ergonomic and units can be triple-stacked to give maximum use of the already reduced footprint.
The door is field reversible, and will open from the left or right hand side.
