Vortex mixer is capable of aggressive mixing
Benchmark Scientific
Mortexer vortex mixer
Benchmark has introduced the Mortexer vortex mixer, which features a multi-functional version of the standard cup head found in traditional vortex mixers.
This multi-head design is claimed to provide the convenience of 'load and walk away', mixing up to eight 1.5 and 2.0ml tubes, while maintaining the basic convenience of a central cup head for the handheld mixing of individual tubes of various sizes.
The Mortexer is described as a powerful vortex mixer that can instantly and completely vortex large sample sizes, including full 50ml tubes.
Featuring Q-Drive self-balancing technology, the vortex mixer creates maximum vortexing action while minimising noise and vibration.
Variable speed settings allow the user to select mixing intensity, ranging from gentle mixing to aggressive vortexing.
The user can also select the 'on' position for continuous operation or the 'touch' position for momentary operation.
