Can be used in critical flow control applications, replacing more expensive pressure regulator systems or pressure feedback systems where the upper pressure limit needs to be controlled
Flow control specialist Bio-Chem Valve has developed inert high-pressure miniature isolation valves.
Available in the UK and Europe from Omnifit, the valves are customised from the company's standard designs.
They can be used in critical flow control applications up to 37.92 bar, replacing more expensive pressure regulator systems or pressure feedback systems where the upper pressure limit needs to be controlled.
The high-pressure valves are customised by Bio-Chem Valve from its standard, field-tested valve designs, which it says have a proven 15-year operational heritage, and provide the same reliable performance and corrosion resistance.
Like Bio-Chem's other valves these high-pressure isolation valves feature a high cycle life, low power requirements, and fast response times.
The valves can be constructed from several different inert materials including Peek, PPS, and Teflon.
Other customisable options include port configuration and orientation; voltage; and electrical power.
In addition, the valves can be combined with Bio-Chem's patented manifold system to control multiple flow lines and reduce the cost of design and assembly time in instrument design and production.
Applications include analytical instrumentation; automatic, programmable pressurised liquid dispensing systems; low viscosity injection moulding; and other operations in which low volume, high pressure dispensing, safety-relief action, or cost saving replacement is desired.
