In-line check valve prevents unintended liquid back-flow in high purity, low pressure fluid transfer applications and features an even flow path that reduces passage complications
Bio-Chem Valve has developed a non-metallic, self-sealing in-line check valve for handling low volume, low flow transfers.
The inert Bio-Chek in-line check valve prevents unintended liquid back-flow in high purity, low pressure fluid transfer applications and features an even flow path that reduces passage complications.
The zero-maintenance valve is available in an inlet or outlet configuration and applications include syringe pump systems, vacuum systems, and other low-flow processes. Unlike a spring-actuated check valve that can impede or restrict the flow path, the Bio-Chek in-line check valve's flow path is less tortuous and minimises shear and turbulence.
The valve connects to a standard 1/4-28 port and fitting, and provides a flow rate equivalent to a 0.76mm orifice, a cracking pressure less than 0.24 bar, and checks against back-flow pressure to 6.89 bar.
Bio-Chem offers manufacturers of scientific and medical equipment a variety of check element materials including EPDM, Viton, and Chemraz.
Peek and PPS are offered as housing materials.
