The National Laboratory Service (NLS) and Agilent Technologies have announced a collaboration which will see the launch of an environmental applications training programme.
The programme is aimed at operators of Agilent's 6410 LC QQQ mass spec systems and will take the form of a three-day LC-MS Environmental training programme, which will be run at the NLS Centre for Analytical Research and Development in Llanelli, South Wales.
Training will focus on the environmental analysis of basic and neutral herbicides, PFOS, PFOA and pharmaceuticals in environmental waters according to EU monitoring requirements.
Delegates can expect practical sessions on instruments in the NLS laboratory, training in small groups and will leave with a recommended protocol for their compounds of interest.
