Funnels and funnelling

Large volume liquid filtering processes are readily handled by Scienceware table-top Buchner funnels.

Liquid capacities of up to 200 litres can be filtered in the largest model, 914mm ID.

Three other sizes are available to match most filtering requirements: 610mm, 457mm, and 260mm ID.

Manufactured of chemical resistant polyethylene, Scienceware table-top Buchner funnels are more rugged than porcelain versions.

Select a funnel with either a medium or coarse porousity filter plate or use with a perforated plate and filter paper.

All filtering medium can be specified to be removable to aid material recovery and cleaning.

Available accessories include fitted lids with gas ports to contain vapour and rings to prevent filter paper from floating and solution passing around the filter paper.

Most specifications for custom sizes and features can be readily manufactured and all models can be built with autoclavable polypropylene.
