Saint-Gobain to exhibit at SILMO
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics
Lens materials and coatings
Saint-Gobain has partnered with distributors to showcase its portfolio of edging pads at SILMO, from 30 October to 2 November, 2008, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.
Distributors will highlight the company's wide range of products for lens materials and coatings, including Securedge Plus, which is specifically engineered for super-hydrophobic lenses.
Ronny Senden, Securedge product manager, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, said: 'Our Securedge Plus edging pad for super-hydrophobic lenses provides a single-step solution that can decrease waste and protect the lab's upstream investment in the final edging process.' Attendees can also obtain free samples of Securedge Plus and a copy of Saint-Gobain's Solutions for the Optical Lab guide to learn how to maximise lab efficiency by choosing and applying the right blocking pad to decrease waste and reduce total system costs.
